Local lockdowns may be needed to stop Indian
covid
Most of the country has reduced the restrictions and people can meet up outside and inside.  They can even travel abroad.  The big change will be in June when everything will be open again.  …. Unless the Indian covid spreads.  Some areas have many cases.  The Government says they may have a local lockdown.  Many MPs do not want this – it would be the fourth lockdown.  They are telling the Government that a fourth lockdown will be terrible for those towns.
School summer holidays maybe only 4 weeks in future.
The Education Department is thinking that it will help kids if they do not have a long summer break.  Teachers say that they forget the work they did before the holiday.  It is too long.  One school has five terms with only one month summer break.  They say it is successful.  Some school children only get proper meals at school so a long break is not good for their health.  This is a big decision.
UK inflation is increasing – shop prices are going up
Clothes and shoes have increased in price.  Oil and gas and electricity have all increased as well.  People have been saving up during the pandemic.  They are starting to spend and the demand goes up and the prices go up.
Three years to catch up on school lessons
