Impact on daily life

Impact 20th July
Litter everywhere.
People are going camping in UK now because it is harder to go abroad.  But many campsites are not allowing tents or are just closed.  This is due to not having the right toilet and showers.  People get around this by doing “wild camping”.  This means going to a nice place in the open and just put up a tent.  Unfortunately, they do not take their rubbish away with them afterwards and there is a problem that beauty spots are not beautiful any more (see photo).
Do you remember when you were at school?  Camp with the school, class or year group?  Maybe even a trip to France?  All stopped because of the virus this year.  The outdoor centres in the UK say they may have to close down as there are no children coming.  Parents and organisations for disabled children say this is very bad because it is really important especially for disabled children.  They can try out many activities which they cannot do at home or in school.
Do you have your mask ready?  Scotland says everyone in a shop should wear a mask.  A survey in England says more than 70% of adults say you should wear a mask.  Some Conservative MPs are against this.  We expect there to be trouble starting this coming Friday.
“Arise Sir Tom!”  Queen taps his shoulders with a sword and gives him the knighthood.  He is the 100 year old man who walked up and down with his zimmer to raise millions for the NHS.
