People in UK over 45 years old can have the vaccine

The NHS offered vaccine to everyone over 50 and all people in high-risk groups.  Now younger people can have the vaccine in UK.  They offer Astra Zeneca vaccine but not Johnson and Johnson vaccine.  USA and EU are not using the Johnson and Johnson vaccine at the moment.  They are worried about side effects.  The UK had over 2 thousand new cases on Tuesday. 
New technology to recognise age from person’s face
If you look young, you can have a problem to buy wine in the supermarket.  This is good if it stops kids from buying alcohol.  Sometimes it is embarrassing – you just have a young face.  You are really 25 years old.  A British company Yoti, have a new system to check your face and confirm your age.  They say it is the most accurate in the world and will stop arguments with the staff in shops.   Trials start soon.
Universities will not open up on site until the middle of May
Many students have gone back to university to live in their flats.  All the lectures and work is online.  Students are not happy and many want to have reduced fees.  The Universities wanted the students to come to lectures but the Government refused.
Next Friday, in Scotland,  you can travel around the country
The travel ban is lifted early to help people’s mental health.  You can also meet larger groups outside.
