Report now confirms that Black and Asian people in England are more likely to die from the virus.  People from Bangladesh background had twice the risk of white British.  Others from Asian background and those from Caribbean, also more likely to die from the virus.  This may not be because of their background, but more related to the jobs that those people have.  More research is needed.
Students at college in the UK may have to stay in “bubbles” so that they meet up only with the same small group of people.  This could happen when they go back to college in September and October.  The idea is that they share accommodation with a small number of people who are on the same course.  One University suggests there would be only 8 students in each “bubble”.
People work at home in lockdown;  avoid public transport.  Many people have season tickets (monthly and yearly) on trains.  £247 million refunds paid back but some companies very slow and cause problems for many people.
In Scotland, McDonalds have very large queues as they opened their drive-thru restaurants.  McDonalds want to open one thousand by Thursday.
