Serious row over PM Boris flat
PM Boris and his fiancée do not live in 10 Downing Street. They are in a flat in 11 Downing Street. When a new PM comes in, they are allowed to have new furniture and new walls …. Up to £30,000. He wanted to spend more. Dominic Cummings worked with him until last year. He says PM Boris was asking people to pay for the decorations. This is not allowed. Now PM Boris says he paid for everything himself. This is only one problem. There are other claims about PM Boris and not following the rules. The Labour Party are pressing to investigate all of these problems with the Government.
Serious problem with the post office
Most post offices have to manage a lot of money. People come for their benefits and to pay bills. Ten years ago, the Post Office gave all the post offices new software to manage the accounts. Suddenly, it looked like money was going missing. The Post Office took to court over 500 managers of the local post offices. The Post Office said they had stolen thousands of pounds. Some managers of the post office went to prison. Some died. Some marriages broke up. None of them were able to get jobs – they were thieves. But they were not. It turns out the software was faulty. Now the court has said they are not guilty. There was no crime. The Post Office will have to pay huge amounts of money for the damage to people’s lives. The head of the Post Office left in 2018 – she was paid over £5m. She is a vicar of the Church of England. She has other jobs as well. While she was at the Post office, it made a profit but it attacked all these post office managers. They say the bill for compensation will be over £300 million. Who will pay? .. we, the taxpayers will pay of course
The story over former PM David Cameron goes on and on.
He was trying to get money from the Government. Now they say he asked the Bank of England to give money to the company, Greensill. It went bust. If he succeeded he could have earned £200 million. There is an investigation. Every day there are new stories of this bad behaviour.
