The issue about schools is continuing. The Government says children need to go back to school because it will help them to be with friends and to have formal learning. But many schools say it is too soon and it will not be possible for them to arrange for small groups and to keep the children apart. The teachers are concerned that the children will carry the virus into school and infect others and teachers and then, it goes back to the other children’s homes.
Different research studies have different results. Some say children do not catch the virus as much as adults; others say they just have less symptoms. No solution so far.
Over 70 people tried to have a Rave in Telford but police caught them and sent them home for breaking the lockdown rules.
Many people and families headed for the seaside on the weekend. Lots of car parks full, even though they were told not to. Good to get away but very bad for social distancing. Deaf choirs may be best? Amsterdam mixed singing choir had a concert on 8th March. Out of 130 members, 102 caught the virus. Same report from other singing choirs. Maybe they should SIGN not SING!. However, some research says it is not the singing out that infects other people but the close contact that is the problem.
