Long Covid?  They say about one in 20 people who have the virus will still have problems eight weeks later. If you have cough, tiredness, headache and diarrhoea, and lose your sense of smell, there is higher risk than if you just had a cough.  More risk if you are over 50 and are female.  What does it feel like?  Most common is tiredness but it can come and go with losing your breath and pains all over.  It can last for months.  Doctors are trying to find out what the warning signs are so that they can have better treatment.
There were 241 deaths from the virus in the UK on Tuesday and over 21 thousand new cases.  The experts thought this rate would only happen in November so the virus is spreading quicker than they thought.
Last week, there were over 400 thousand children in England off school due to the virus and self isolating.  Teachers are worried that the children are losing important school time which will affect exams next year.
It looks like most Christmas markets in UK cities will be cancelled this year.  There will still be Christmas lights in most cities but the traditional market stalls and outdoor beer drinking and mulled wine will not happen.
