Impact on daily life

6th May 2020

If lockdown ends what happens?  Some possibilities….

Shopping? For clothes, general?
No changing rooms and asked to shop alone.  Possibly only larger shopping out of town – more space.
Can meet friends and family?  In Scotland, they say may be possible to meet in local area, small groups.  But England health people say that could be risky.
Going back to work?  More complicated as offices are open plan and toilets and kitchens are shared.  May need masks and so on.
What about buses and trains?  Really hard as not enough space on platforms then trains only take about 20% of people so they stay apart.  Already on buses but hard to go in and out.
For schools?  Possible that primary schools are first. Also year 10 and year 12 pupils may go back but still have mixture of school and home learning.  Smaller class size, pupils go on different days, break times different.
Not sure if University students can go back in September.

Look out for announcements at the end of this week.
