Impact on daily life

Impact 28th July
After the news about quarantine from travellers from Spain, there has been a huge increase in people booking camping holidays in the UK.
The Government says they will give out 50 thousand special vouchers so that people can get their old bikes fixed and then get more exercise. The vouchers will be online and anyone can apply.  First come, first served.  There are new plans to allow people to ask for their local streets to be closed and for proper cycle lanes to be built.   Cycle lanes are not to be just painted lines. … there has to be a barrier to separate cyclists from cars.
Teacher unions are asking that teachers can wear masks in classrooms and that all staff should be allowed to wear masks in the school building.  Government says that the risks are small if kids are kept in small groups.  The union also says that secondary children should be allowed to wear masks in school as well.
The Government cut the stamp duty (tax when you are buying a house) so that it would help people to move around and help finances.  Now it looks like this is only helping in London area and not in other parts of the country.
