Impact on daily life

Impact on UK 11th June
Boris says, “I want to stress that support bubbles must be exclusive, meaning you can’t switch the household you are in a bubble with or connect with multiple households.”  It is really hard to figure out what he is saying.  It is all about making a bubble with someone else who lives alone.  hmm???  But this is only for England.  We think it means that people who live alone can go to friends or relatives and stay overnight.  Probably people have been doing this already.
Some MPs want to reduce social distance to one metre.  No special evidence on this just pressure for business to start up.
The contact-tracing app (remember from the Isle of Wight) still not ready as there are problems with “Bluetooth” (connection between phones) as it is not accurate enough about distance apart.  Government thinking about using the same app as other countries.
Boris told people in March that the virus would be gone in 12 weeks.  Time is up today.  Doesn’t look like he got it right.
You like Marmite?  Now only available in small jars because it needs brewer’s yeast.  The Marmite company says it is hard to get now because breweries have cut back on production because all the pubs are closed.
