Primary schools unlikely to open until September
now in England but MPs say the Government has to start planning now as the school buildings are not suited to the distancing measures which may be needed.  It looks like education will have to change and class sizes will have to be reduced.  How can the schools do this without more teachers and more finances?  And children will also be 6 months behind in their learning.
Shops will open from Monday as long as they follow social distancing rules.  However, the 2 metre rule may be reduced to one metre soon.  Now the Government has said that zoos can open from 15th June.
A wee in the wild?  One of the problems about good weather and picnics, is that people need to use the toilet more.  But most public toilets are closed and pubs and shops have been closed.  So people have been wee-ing outside.  In some more crowded areas, the smell is becoming a problem.  The additional problem is that they are not able to wash their hands afterwards so there are personal health issues.  And of course, there are on-the-spot fines of up to £195.  Advice is to think carefully before going out and if you know there are no toilets, don’t go there.
