On Saturday 14 million people watched on TV the funeral of Prince Philip

It was a very formal occasion with procession and service in the church. Thirty family members came.  The guests had to keep to social distance.  The Queen sat in church alone. The The Royal Family will continue in mourning for 2 weeks.
In UK, NHS reports 70 cases – this is new – an Indian version
We are not sure if the vaccine can protect against this Indian version. They need more research.  On Sunday, 33 million people in UK have the first Covid jab and nearly 10 million have the second jab. The Government hopes that this will avoid a new wave of covid.  Health experts are worried that pubs and restaurants have too many people mixing.
There is an increase in people with tinnitus during the pandemic
Tinnitus is a loud ringing noise or vibration in the ears.  The Tinnitus Association say more people are contacting their helpline.  Medical experts say Covid can cause tinnitus and can make it worse if you already have tinnitus
Welsh people want to keep their water for Wales not for England
There is an election on May 6th.  Welsh people want to stop solar panels and wind farming.  They want more reservoirs to store water and they want to build dams for hydro-electric power.  There are worries that too much Welsh water goes to England.  The people want answers from the people who stand for election.
