Impact on daily life

7th May 2020

Everyone hopes that we will soon be able to go out more, especially to parks and open spaces.  Boris Johnson will tell us what will change from next week.  Probably people on building sites will be able to go back.
Unlikely that schools will be open.  Government said today that teachers don’t need protective equipment when children go back to school.  That will not make it easy for teachers to return.  Many pupils complain in lockdown that there is too much homework and there is no actual teaching.  The kids spend too much time on X-Box and PS4.
More stories now that people with some mental health problems are struggling with depression.  There is no group therapy/counselling session at present and services are mostly cancelled.  Some people with anxiety, get worse if other people come too close – break rules for distancing.
