A tunnel has been built under Euston Park
Why?  Climate activists are rebelling against the new £160 billion high speed rail (called HS2).  Four members of a group have been digging for 4 months. The tunnel is 100 feet below the ground. They want to stop the new rail link. They believe the campaign will work as it will be very difficult to get them out of the tunnel. HS2 say it won’t be pleasant – where will they go for the toilet?  Activists say the new rail link will destroy 108 ancient woodlands and force many people out of their homes.
