Housing crisis … still.  There are so many people who have no homes or who live in temporary and bad houses or are crammed into flats. The national housing organisation says we need 145 thousand homes each year … but they have to be affordable.  Only 57 thousand have been built in the last year.  “Crisis” the charity for the homeless, says this Christmas, there could be 200 thousand families on the streets or sleeping in sheds and garages or in poor B&B.  Most local authorities in England (162) did not build any social rent housing (affordable) at all.
Fans who are able to attend matches in the premier league now In Tier 1 and Tier 2, will have strict rules:  wear a mask at all times, not to sing too much and no hugging.  There will be a temperature check when they arrive.  They are hoping to get 20,000 fans to matches by the end of the season.
What will you be having with your Christmas meals this year? There seem to be a lot of crazy products around.    Walkers special edition crisps – Brussels Sprouts flavour.  Then there are prosecco crisps from M&S or prosecco and elderberry crisps from Tesco.  Also Sainsbury’s squeezy bottle of “pigs in blankets mayonnaise” … which is actually OK for vegetarians?  Maybe the best is the company Lily’s Kitchen which specialises in proper food for dogs – they have a Christmas spectacular, “Three bird feast with all the trimmings” in a 400g can for £2.75.  Oh dear, Oh dear.
