Trouble in Parliament.  The Government has to persuade its MPs to support the new Tier system.  Many Conservative MPS are not going to support it because they say it is unfair.  In the past, Labour Party have supported the Government on this, but tomorrow they say they will abstain – meaning they will not vote for it and they will not vote against it.  This could make it harder for the Government to get the plans accepted.  They have decided to offer money for pubs which are not allowed to open – so this might make some MPs accept the plans.  Until they decide in London, the public do not know what to think.
Brexit on the brink?  It means that it is right at decision time for the British Government.  The Governments in Netherlands, Belgium and France have all asked the EU to prepare for no deal.  Even the leader of Germany, Merkel agrees that there are still problems.  The Irish believe the British will have to make a move and not try to create a trap where they keep all the fishing rights.  The EU say that the European countries have lost patience with the delays.
Some more figures.. not about the virus but about the stars.  A new telescope in the outback (deserted area) of Western Australia has been able to create a map of the southern sky in record time.  In 300 hours it has collected the data on three million galaxies.  Now we have a new map of the universe (not that we can ever get there… as it is so far away).  The data collected was then analysed by special software – there was 13.5 exabytes of data.  Not sure what this is?  Well, it is 13.5 billion gigabytes.  Still not sure?  One single gigabyte takes 15 minutes just to download – then you would have to process it.   Home computers might have back up of 500 gigabytes.  Hmmm  … it is really a huge amount of data on billions of stars which are out there in space.
