Boris is to give his virtual speech to the Conservative Party this week – he will say that by 2030 all homes in the UK will have energy from wind power.  He says this will create thousands of new jobs.  Most of the wind turbines will be in the sea.
Lawyers are upset by the speech of the Home secretary who attacked lawyers – she said they make profit from asylum seekers.  She said the lawyers and others were talking about human rights but were defending the people who trafficked refugees (brought them across Europe and into Britain).  She said they were left wing and do-gooders and she also accused the Labour Party.  Because of the language used by the Government, some lawyers are saying they are worried for their safety.  The Law Society has written to the Government to say they should change the language they are using.
Thirteen children at a London secondary school became ill after they ate some sweets.  The hospital believes the sweets had cannabis in them.  The police are investigating how the sweets were in the school.  The children will recover OK.
