United nations are warning that animal life is under threat and that because of the way humans are behaving the animal’s diseases are more likely to jump to humans. This happens with Ebola, and SARS and now Coronavirus. The UN has set out a plan to try to help nature and animals to survive and as a result, to help humans.
Not all children have returned to school. One in 9 have stayed at home. This means at least 400 thousand children were not in school last week.
Japanese company Hitachi, has pulled out of a deal to build a nuclear power station in North Wales. They say they were not able to agree the funding with the UK Government. This probably means that the plan for thousands of jobs will be scrapped
In a survey of young Americans aged 18 to 39 years, two thirds did not know that 6 million Jews were killed in the second world war in the concentration camps. Nearly a quarter thought that the Holocaust was a made up story. At the same time, half the people had seen Nazi signs on social media and had read stories that said the Jews were not killed. The survey had 1,000 interviews.
