A big problem coming to the Government?
It looks like David Cameron the Prime Minister from 2010 is in a bit of bother. When he was PM, he allowed Lex Greensill to work at Downing Street.  He had a good idea to make money from the NHS.  Greensill became rich.  David Cameron then worked with Greensill as adviser.  But Greensill had finance problems… it affects a lot of other companies and thousands of jobs.  David Cameron started calling his old mates in the Government.  He asked the Government to lend money to Greensill to keep it going.  Looks like David Cameron was going to make millions himself.  The Government did not lend the money and Greensill collapsed.  David Cameron should not be using his personal contacts to try to influence them.
Anther problem – this time with water companies
BBC Panorama research found water companies are dumping untreated sewage into the rivers – ugh!   There is a rule if there is really bad rain, then the sewage is OKto release.  But companies were just ignoring and letting the sewage into the river.  One company told lies to the Environmental Agency.  Another did not have a permit.  They are supposed to clean the waste water before it goes in the rivers.  This affects the fish and wildlife … and us.
