The numbers of Indian covid in UK are growing fast
There is a big outbreak in Bolton and near Blackpool but the Indian covid is now in most parts of the country.  They say that one in every seven cases is Indian Covid.  Numbers of people in hospital are low … but many of the people with Indian covid did not take the vaccine when it was offered to them.  Up to now, the Government has spent £372 billion on Covid.  Most of this is money which they have borrowed.  We will have to pay it back sometime.
The situation in Gaza is getting worse and worse
The Israel air force are dropping bombs and more bombs. Electricity to the hospitals and to people’s homes can stop in 2 days.  This is because the power station will have no fuel.  Egypt and USA are trying make Israel stop the attacks.  At the moment, they have no success.  Israel say they are blowing up special tunnels used by Hamas and also  they are killing their leaders.  Reports say that they are killing hundreds of children.
Nurse resigns – she looked after PM Boris with Covid
Last year PM Boris had covid.  He went into hospital.  He was seriously ill.  The nurses had to stay beside his bed 24 hours to give him oxygen.  He thanked the nurse afterwards.  Now she has quit.  She says the Government does not respect the NHS and does not give the pay which they deserve.
In June, London will have trial of electric scooters
If you want to use one you will need to take an online course first.  In other cities for example, Bristol, people can just grab a scooter from a street corner and leave it somewhere else in the city.  Not many people follow the rules and – not many wear helmets.
