Wales is going into a two-week lockdown starting on Friday.  All pubs and restaurants will close.  Also all hotels and non-essential shops.  Primary school can open again after the half term but only year 7 and year 8 of secondary schools can go back.  Leisure, community centres, libraries and recycling centres will shut. Places of worship will be closed for normal services, except for funerals and weddings.  No Halloween parties and no bonfire night gatherings.  This will affect people who planned to go to Wales for the half term holiday.
In Parliament, Theresa May asked how the Government was going to manage security –  after Brexit they cannot have access to the EU information on terrorists and criminals. Michael Gove answered that they would have better security systems outside of the EU.  According to Theresa May, this was just a lie and she was seen on camera to say – his reply was utter rubbish.
Do you or friends or family have a new baby?  Is it bottle fed?  Scientists are now saying that when you sterilise the plastic bottles at high temperatures it causes the plastic to break down.  This means that microplastics and even smaller nano plastics are being passed into the drinks and then into the baby.  You could use glass bottles – much safer but over 80% of baby bottles are plastic.  Bad news is that kettles can also release these tiny plastics into our bodies.  The message is clear – plastics are bad for the environment and for humans.
