UK say they reached over 100,000 virus tests per day but 40,000 of these were just sent out to people, not necessarily actual tests.  Also the figures do not mean 100,000 new people because many key workers have to be tested again and again.
There are 177 thousand people who have corona virus … but that is only 0.3% of the population.  Very small number … so far.
Big problems in homes for old people and with learning disabilities – not enough PPE masks, gowns and now may people dying there.  Relatives not allowed to visit.
People living in more deprived areas of England and Wales are more likely to die with coronavirus than those in more rich places.  Also more people die from black and Asian communities.
