People in Reading very upset at the stabbing of three popular people in a park on the weekend.  Groups gathered to remember them.  The school where one man was a teacher came together to remember him.
The virus continues to increase.  Nearly 9 million cases.  South Korea says there is a second wave now because the restaurants and clubs were opened up.  Melbourne in Australia now has a spike in cases – they are trying to trace all contacts.  Israel may go back into lockdown because more cases have appeared.  Houston in Texas has over 3 thousand people each day going to hospital.  There is no lockdown and people have been going around as usual.  Florida also has a surge due to the holiday period when people went to the beach.  The World Health Organisation says the situation is getting worse.  
Sand from the Sahara desert has flown across the Atlantic Ocean and arrived in Puerto Rico in the Caribbean.  A huge cloud of sand has been blown by the wind and now the air quality is very bad.   It blocks out a lot of the sunshine. The sand will carry on to the USA as well.  This has not happened for over 50 years.
