Boris has called an emergency meeting in London
.  Even flights to Canada and South America have been stopped.  The Brexit deal has not been completed in time.  The Health Minister on Sunday, said the virus was out of control in London and the South East.  There are concerns that fresh food will not get through over Christmas.  And what will they do with the thousand lorry jam that is already there.. backing up from Dover?
There is also an emergency meeting in the EU to decide how to deal with the virus spreading in UK.
Ireland and Northern Ireland agree that no-deal is a disaster.  The arrangements at the moment will mean Northern Ireland is still part of the EU so that they can keep the border open.  If no-deal happens, all goods from the Britain to Northern Ireland will need customs papers.  The worry is that if there are delays at Dover or in France, food and other materials will be slow to reach Northern Ireland.  Most goods from Ireland go through Britain on the way to other parts of the EU.  If Britain is not in the EU and no deal, the traffic will need be sent direct by sea and air.  It will take longer and cost more.
Anger about minister telling schools that they have arrange for testing of all secondary pupils.  The instruction arrived on Friday when most schools were already closed.  The Unions say the testing is impossible to arrange if teachers are also making lessons online as well.  There is not enough time to set it up.  Government says they will train people to come into school to carry it out.  Headteachers say that anyone coming into school has to have a DBS (police) check to safeguard the pupils.
