From now on, they hope to test 100,000 people everyday to see if they have the virus. That helps .. so that we know who needs to be isolated and they can tell their family who live with them.

Many people are still dying; yesterday the total from January up to now was over 26,000 in UK. But good news … is … that numbers are getting less and many people have now recovered and are well.
Boris Johnson says there will be a plan to get back to normal, but it will take time. It is possible that people will wear masks in public to reduce the chance of catching or spreading the virus … but we will still have to stay 6 feet – 2 metres – apart.
Most people do not like the lockdown.  About half accept it and are OK, around 40% say it is hard and they are losing sleep and are anxious.  Just under 10% don’t believe in lockdown at all.
Now we can see many more cars on the road.  Police can stop people if they do not have permission for work or for shopping or for medical reasons.
One bright bit of news at least for some drinkers….
Alnwick Brewery (north of Newcastle) is giving away free beer because all the pubs are closed
