The EU is setting up new camps in Greece for refugees.  These are closed camps meaning that you need a pass to go in and out and there will be strict controls on numbers.  There will be proper accommodation and running water.  This should be an improvement but it does not really solve the problem of where the refugees should be able to settle down.
There are to be trials In London where volunteers will have injections of the corona virus and also treatment with the vaccine to see if the vaccine works.  This is to start in January and they say about 2,000 people have signed up to be the test subjects.  They will be in a safe place and will have access to all medical facilities.
There are more protests and trouble coming in the USA.   A decision was made yesterday that three police officers are not to be charged in the case of black woman who was shot and killed in her own home, when the police broke in looking for drugs.  Lots of tears and anger among people waiting to find out about the charges.  So people were out on the streets again in Louisville, in Kentucky.  Police started again to arrest people and there was violence.  The scary part was that many white people dressed in military gear with big guns turned up and started wandering around the streets to try to frighten the protesters.  Now there is a report that two police officers were shot.  There were also big protests in other cities in including Washington.  It looks like there are going to be many more protests and a lot more trouble in the USA.
