It is not true that Covid pandemic will create a ‘divorce boom’.
Lockdown, home-schooling create pressures.  But married couples with children say their relationship has improved. This is not what experts predicted.
Arguments over the plan for quarantine for travellers.  People say it is taking the Government too long.  New Zealand closed down nearly a year ago .. and they have hardly any cases.  UK Government has to arrange contracts with hotels.  Then arrange for police to stop people trying to skip out,  Oh.. and they have to arrange for transport from the airport to the hotel.  Ten days board at £80 a day.  Government has to pay the hotels first and then try to get the money back later from the people.  Now another argument over which countries – because many countries that have virus troubles are not on the red list.  They don’t have to go into quarantine.  Oh dear.
Everyone is worried about the power of Facebook, Google and Amazon. Governments talk about tax or break up the companies.  A British minister suggests to have UK companies like Google or Facebook? Is it possible?
Is VR coming?  Virtual Reality….
We can’t plan our holidays just now but some companies are offering virtual holidays.  Just sit down on the sofa put on the headset and away you go .. National Geographic VR can take you to Antarctic.  You can go around icebergs on a kayak.  Another company can take you to the Pyramids in Egypt.  You can also go to Paris, or Venice or Tokyo.  No information on deaf friendly VR where you can sign to other people.  Maybe we should have DeafStation VR?
