UK Government health advisers are asking for more Covid restrictions as they think the spread is too fast and the Tier system is not working. They say it could be worse than what happened in the spring this year.
MPs and those in the House of Lords are suing the Government because it has refused to carry out an independent review of the interference by Russia in the 2016 referendum and elections. There were reports (and evidence from the national security people) of interference by the Russians in the Brexit referendum but the Government departments refused to examine this properly and say there is no evidence. The legal case is based on the European Convention on Human Rights which says there have to be free elections.
You know about the “zombie batteries?” Well there are hundreds of fires being started by zombie batteries. People are putting ‘dead’ batteries in their dustbins or just dropped in the waste. When the waste is collected it gets crushed and the batteries can get holes in them. When damaged like this the batteries can go on fire or even explode and then set fire to the other rubbish. Up to March, this year lithium batteries have caused 250 fires. These batteries are in laptops, mobile phones, electric toothbrushes, e-cigarettes and power tools and many other gadgets. People throw away a vast amount of batteries every year and less than half are properly recycled. The warning: Do not put your old batteries in the garbage!!….re-cycle them.
