Isle of Wight prison officer jailed

Lauren McIntyre, 32, from Isle of Wight, a female prison officer had a four months affair with Roberts, a murderer  in prison. Lauren said she was guilty and was sent to prison for three years
Lauren, the officer, is mother of three.  Lauren was sexually attracted to Roberts, he wanted special information and a mobile phone from her for his benefit.  In 2003, Roberts was jailed for life for killing his girlfriend and baby.
Harry and Meghan story on TV soon
Harry and Meghan’s book, Finding Freedom is about themselves who gave up their royal duties last March.  They went to live in America and make deals to earn money.  The book, published last August, may be developed into a TV series The book did reach best seller only for the first week of publication so the price was reduced to encourage more sales. The Royal Family is said to be upset with them for leaving their Family but the couple said they felt restricted and faced lots of unwanted publicity for their every move so they wanted freedom.
RYANAIR number of passengers slashed
Ryanair say they will fly only between 26 and 30 millions passengers between Ireland and UK, down by 5 million. They blame the UK government for their Covid actions and lockdowns. The number of flights will be reduced from 21st January.
Boom in buildings?
Even there is a recession because of lockdowns and slow economy in UK, the past 2 years more new buildings are going up. Good news as there are more people being employed in building work.  Also there’s more new orders for construction companies in 2021.
Covid Tests at Airports
From next week travellers arriving from abroad to England and Scotland must have negative Covid tests. Government hopes that this will stop any new variants (strands) of the corona virus spreading in UK. The tests must be taken up to 72 hours before their travel to UK.
