More than 1,000 people have been arrested by police over drugs.  Young people have been used to take drugs and money from one part of the UK to another.  The police found nearly 200 weapons and over £500 thousand in cash.  The drugs they found were worth over £1 million.  The gangs use mobile phones to tell people which drugs they have and then vulnerable people have to take the drugs around.
There are more people looking for jobs which are outside of London.  Because of changes to office work and the difficulties of travelling in London, there are more jobs now appearing away from London. Many restaurants and hotels are still closed in London so there is less opportunity for work in town.
Scientists are now saying that the corona virus is changing (the say “mutating”) which means that it is adapting to the conditions where people are trying to avoid it.  It is becoming easier to catch it.  This is what happens with colds and flu – each year the virus is a bit different.  It means that the vaccines will also have to change to stop the virus.  Every year the flu jab has to be different because the flu has changed.
Even the Queen has a problem because there are not many visitors coming to the royal residences and castles.  It could be a loss of about £5m each year for the next 3 years.  They are also spending more.  Prince Harry and Meghan went to South Africa and that cost £250,000;  Prince Andrew had a private jet to go to a golf tournament in Northern Ireland and that cost £16,000
