Many big firms may stop doing business in Northern Ireland.  Because of the Brexit agreement so far, the border between Northern Ireland and Ireland has to be open.  This means that all goods going from Britain to Northern Ireland have to be checked… so that they are not smuggled into the EU through Ireland.  This affects chilled and fresh foods and will increase costs.  Companies like Tesco may think it is not worth it because of the extra paperwork and delays.  They will not make enough profit from Norther Ireland.
Google is continuing to build the “landscraper” office in London even though they are telling all staff they can work from home until July 2021.  The building is very long – not tall.  It will have a roof garden and a 25 metre swimming pool, an indoor basketball court and “nap pods” so that tired out workers can have a quick sleep during the day.  None of the current UK offices of Google have been opened for staff due to the virus.  The building is Kings Cross area and there will also be a new Facebook office nearby.
