It seems the virus cases are increasing all over the UK.  Some experts say that a full lockdown is possible as people are not behaving sensibly.  In London on Saturday, crowds of people were gathered in the centre of town and had to be moved by police on horses.  Few people were wearing masks.  The Government will make an announcement on Monday to say where the increased restrictions will be.  It is expected that pubs and restaurants will be closed in many parts of England …. Scotland has already done this.  It looks like track and trace will be given to local councils to manage – the Government system is not working.
More than 10,000 university students have the virus.  Four Universities have half of all the cases:  Nottingham, Manchester, Northumbria and Newcastle.  They have to isolate and anyone who lives the same residence has to stay in the flat or residence for 2 weeks.  The university has to supply food but students are complaining that a lot of the food is junk food and not suitable for people with some diets.
There is a worry about the data collected by companies who supply the QR codes to venues and shops – when you go into a venue, instead of writing down your contact details you can use the Government app on your smart phone to scan the code.  Your information then goes to another company who are supposed to pass details to track and trace.  They do pass on but also make their own copies which can be passed to other people who can then target you.  This is not supposed to happen.
