Latest update on Covid virus
I in 5 UK people have the vaccine.  New cases are up to 20,634 and 915 deaths. Thirty year-old group is the worse i of all. The think infection levels in every region are coming down. But they say 4,000 virus versions around the world.  There is a new plan mix two different vaccines  – trial in UK – maybe offer much more protection? We will know the results this summer.
Economy in UK will recover quickly
Bank of England say this will happen this summer because more people have the vaccine.  The country will open up more.  Growth this year will be 5%, should be 7.5%.  Better news in 2022, will be  up 7.5%. Maybe people will spend more money they have saved up?  Bank of England say that people saved £125 billion.  They do not spend through covid pandemic. They hope no recession is coming.
Footballer fined for haircut in lockdown. Newcastle United player, Joelinton was fined £2,000 for breaking the virus law. He took a selfie and posted it on Instagram. The barber also got in trouble – got served a prohibition notice. This means he is not allowed to do it again.
