It is a big deal.  Sunday finally a huge free trade deal was agreed between countries in the Pacific and Asia.  This includes China and Australia and New Zealand, Japan and South Korea.  They will be able to trade goods, technology and Finances.  Trump refused to be involved.  It includes one third of the world’s population.  It does not include the EU … or Britain.
In case you had not noticed, there was more chaos in Number 10 Downing Street as two advisers, Cummings and Cain were asked to leave.  There is a long story about this, but the MPs and Boris’s partner are upset about what is happening in the Government and blamed these two individuals for not consulting and for not helping the public understand or support Boris.  The two advisers were from the Vote Leave campaign and were not related to the Conservative Party at all.  The plan is that Boris will be more positive and work with his MPs.  They say this problem is not going to affect Brexit talks.
The Government took away the VAT on e-books this year.  It was to make it better for people read books on their tablet or computer.  But instead of the prices coming down it seems they may have gone up.  Looks a bit familiar.
Wow, this is another big deal.  There are UK plans to put solar panels into space with mirrors so that they can catch the rays of the sun 24 hours a day.  The solar panels will then fire lasers to earth which will capture the energy.  There is enough energy to supply 4 million houses in the UK.  First they have to get all the mirrors and solar panels into space – they have to be very big.  This plan might be working by 2050.
