Four air passengers coming to Birmingham did not admit they came from a red list country where they have Covid problems.  They are fined £10,000 each.   The border control officials stopped them and kept them in the airport.    The “red list” of 33 countries includes Portugal, Brazil and South Africa.
Belarus is another problem country (it was part of the Soviet Union).    They have a dictator who claimed he won the election in 2020.  Most people said it was a fraud.  There were a lot of protests.  Now the police have raided the homes of journalists and human rights activists and workers in trade unions.  The police grabbed phones and computers.  Since the election there were protests.  The police arrested people and many were tortured in jail.
South Korea accuses North Korea hackers of trying to steal information about the vaccine.  Pfizer has a factory in South Korea.  North Korea claims they have no virus cases.  They do have a long history of hacking and stealing money by using computer viruses.
Fancy a break?  Have a Kit-Kat.  Now you can have a new variety.  This is the vegan Kit-Kat with no milk in the chocolate.  Nestle say the new bar still has a “perfect balance between crispy wafer and smooth cholate.”  Deaf vegans will be the first in the queue … maybe.
