Remember Brexit?  No, it hasn’t gone away.  It is only about 7 weeks until the UK is completely out of the EU.  There is no agreement and no big trade deals with the USA.  The National Audit Office (NAO) which looks at Government actions and spending, says companies are not ready for the new rules which will apply and even the computer systems have not been tested.  Discussions still seem to be stuck and there is no deal.  The EU says that there is almost no time left to have all agreements prepared and then translated into all the languages of the EU, so that it can all be agreed by 31st December.  Even if there is a last minute deal, businesses are in the middle of lockdown with staff out because of the virus.  The NAO are worried that half of the lorries that have to travel across the channel to France, will not be ready for the new rules that the EU will have in place.
Denmark, Germany and Sweden are now off the travel list – that means if you are coming into the UK from those countries you will have to self-isolate for 14 days.  It looks like in Denmark there is a slightly different form of the virus which has appeared in the farms they have for minks.  What are minks?  They are small animals with long tails that live near water, which are kept for their fur which is of high value.  The Danish Government has had to kill thousands of minks which are infected.
If you are thinking about buying a Bentley car just now you may want to wait because they will have electric cars by 2025 and will stop producing petrol cars altogether by 2030.  They are the first car company to decide this.  Their cars cost between £130 thousand and £240 thousand, so most people will not be too worried about this announcement.
