Denmark has agreed to close down the Danish oil industry by 2050.  This seems a long time away but it is a major step towards using renewable energy sources.  This will reduce greenhouse gas and have an impact on climate change.
The house of a woman scientist in Florida was raided by the police and all her phones and computers were taken away.  In May, this year, the Governor of the State who supports Trump, fired her from her job in the department of health because she refused to change the numbers of people who got the virus.  She was trying to tell the truth about the numbers of people who got the virus and who died.  But the Governor wanted to stop the lockdown and open all the bars and restaurants (and after that there was a surge in cases). The police say that they raided her house (with armed police while her children were at home) because they claim there was a computer hack of the website of the health department.  She says she has nothing to do with this and does not know how to hack into computers.  It looks like an example of what happens in a police state where people who try to speak out are attacked.  It should not happen in the USA.
Deepspot is a new swimming pool opened in Poland.  So what?  It is the deepest pool in the world – 45 metres.  It has a shipwreck at the bottom and caves to explore.  It is used for training divers and will be used by the firefighters and the army.  It won’t be the deepest for long as there is a pool to be opened in Liverpool next year which will be 50 metres deep.
