Ghana is the first country to receive first dose vaccines through Covax.  The Covax scheme aimed to help poorer countries get their share of vaccines from rich countries. The vaccines are donated from left overs because some countries have ordered far too many vaccines.  Ghana has more than 80,700 Covid cases and 580 deaths since the pandemic started.  Covax hopes to deliver two billion doses to 190 countries in less than one year.

Xhosa is one of 11 official languages in South Africa.  This is one of many name changes to cities, towns and airports.
