The flooding in News South Wales in Australia is very serious.  More than 18 thousand people had to leave their homes.  One video showed a whole house sailing away in the floods.  They say this amount of rain only happens once in 50 years.  Problem is that there is more rain to come through the night into Tuesday.  Lucky no one has died.
The EU says that AstraZeneca has not delivered the vaccines to the EU.   The factories in the Netherlands and in the UK were supposed to provide 120 million vaccines to the EU.  The EU says they might have only 30 million.  That is because the company made a different contract with the UK.  And the UK has refused to share.  PM Boris is trying to talk to leaders in the countries of the EU.  They will have a vote on Thursday and may force AstraZeneca to deliver the vaccine to the EU… not to the UK.
EU, UK, Canada and the US have ordered sanctions against the Chinese.  This because the Chinese are oppressing the Uighur people.  The Chinese say they are re-educating the people to stop them being terrorists.  The other countries say it is abuse.  The Chinese have now made sanctions against people in the EU.  The sanctions are to stop the people from travelling, stop access to their money in banks.  The Chinese say it is all lies. You may know that there is a huge shortage of computer chips in the world.  Last Friday, it just got worse because a factory in Japan was on fire.  The factory makes chips for cars.  Volkswagen says this will make it worse for another 6 months.
