In Moscow, the virus cases are increasing fast.  They want to keep primary schools open.  So they have brought in university students to teach so that older teachers can stay at home and isolate.  The secondary schools are closed and there is to be online teaching.  They are also asking medical students to help out in hospital where they may not have enough doctors.
Germany has increases in virus cases (over 6,000 per day … compared to UK over 14,000 cases per day).  They are having curfews after 11pm for the places which have the most increase.  The Czech Republic has big increases as well (nearly 10,000).  They thought they had beaten the virus.
Trump continues to tell people he is immune.  He ignores the fact that over 200 thousand people have died of Covid.  He blames everyone else and says that he has done a great job.  He plans to have rallies in many places where people do not have to wear masks and where they are all bunched together.  Health experts says this is not responsible behaviour.
Over 14 million people have already voted in the US election.  In some places people had to wait for 8 hours to get to be able to put in their vote.  In some places, it seems there are deliberate attempts to slow things down including damaging computer systems.  Because of the virus people are urged to vote early or to send in postal votes.
