People in New Zealand were hugging and kissing and planning for parties because the lockdown was over.   No more restrictions for the first time in 3 months.  Everything is open again and life is back to “normal”.
WHO says virus danger is not over.  There were more than 136 thousand new cases in the world on Sunday.  Now over 7 million cases in the world.  There is a problem as over half of new cases in Singapore do not have any symptoms.
Sweden now admits that it failed to look after the elderly in care homes.  They did not have lockdown like most countries and people were able to go out together and go to restaurants.  This seemed to be working OK for younger people.  But there was a huge impact on the elderly and Sweden had a large number of deaths – different from Denmark and Norway where they had lockdown.  Now Sweden says it would do something different if it happened again.
