World News 5th June
In USA there are 42 million people registered as unemployed as a result of the virus.
In Iran, and South Africa there has been a surge in virus cases.  Also in b, now over 600 thousand people with virus.  World figures are 6.6 million.
New Zealand says that by 15^th June, with no new cases for 3 weeks, they will have eliminated the virus altogether in the country.
EU wants to open all internal borders between countries by end of June.  This does not include the UK.
In Australia, they will recommend the Ebola drug – Remdesivir – to help speed up the recovery.
New York Governor says that people on the protest marches should get tested as there was no social distancing.
Remember the Olympics to be in Tokyo this summer?  Postponed.  But the committee can’t decide yet if the Olympics will be next year.  They won’t make a decision until Spring 2021.
