The leader of the Senate in USA has now agreed that Biden is the winner of the election
and he accepts the result – the people have decided.  He was one of Trump’s big supporters all along.  This will make Trump angry and he still does not accept that Biden has won. It is odd – Putin the Russian leader has congratulated Biden before the leader of the Republicans.
It is hard to have good information from Tigray in Ethiopia after the army moved in to fight the local people.  Refugees say large numbers of people have been killed but there are no communications at the moment.  The UN is very worried about what they will find if they are allowed to go in to help.  This is just another terrible situation in the world.  We worry about deaf people in these war zones as they never get information and may see some terrible events.
This is a bit worrying.  You know that Facebook collects a huge amount of information about you (it owns Instagram and WhatsApp – it knows where you send messages).  Because of Brexit, it says, Facebook will move all UK users to the American rules about privacy.  The EU rules are more strict about how Facebook can use your information.  The rules in the USA are much less. Privacy specialists are not happy with this.  They say Facebook users in the UK can be investigated by US intelligence and can have their data examined in the USA.
