The World Health Organisation says Governments have to give much clearer messages about the serious effect of the virus.  The coronavirus pandemic will get “worse and worse”.  They say “too many countries [were] headed in the wrong direction” because the countries were not using the right methods.  They say there is no shortcut to get out of the virus problem.
A big row is in the USA where Trump has not spoken to his national health advisor for 2 months.   They are trying to blame their own adviser for the bad management of the virus.  The same adviser is trusted by the public and has been adviser to many Presidents.  It looks like the usual from Trump that when things go wrong, they blame other people.  It is very serious if decisions are made without consulting the health scientists.
Melbourne in Australia has big increase in cases.  But numbers are still very small compared to UK.  California now has U-turn with theatres, bars and restaurants closed again.  This Is repeating in many countries. Spain now worried about allowing Brits to come for holidays.  Shameful behaviour by drunk Brits in Majorca.  A video was posted showing them with no masks, no distance, dancing on the top of cars.  Masks are compulsory on Majorca not just in shops but outdoors as well.  Spain had a high death rate and parts of Spain are still in lockdown, so Spanish people are angry.  Young Germans also have not been behaving well.
