Looks like Trump has sacked his Attorney General.
He is head of the Justice Department.  Trump appointed him and he was doing exactly what Trump told him to do.  Then last month, he told Trump that there was no fraud in the election.  Trump does not believe this and got angry and started to attack him in public. So he has got rid of the Attorney General.
The USA “electoral college” has now confirmed that Biden has won the election.  Seems strange that it has taken so long but it it’s the process in USA.  Each State has a number of votes and these are delivered by an elector.  The elector has to say who won in their State, all on the same day – this time at an online video call.  Biden won.  He will be President on January 20th.
The BBC has carried out an investigation in China.  They found that people are forced to pick the cotton.  This is happening in Xinjang region where the Uighur minority people live.  This is where there are camps where Uighur minority people are kept.  China says this is for their vocational education.  But the BBC believes they are forced labour.  The cotton produced is one fifth of all cotton used in the world.  It is used in fashion clothes all over the world.
The EU is preparing a new law which will reduce the power of the big tech companies – Apple, Google, Facebook and Amazon.  The EU says they often break the rules about fair competition. They will be fined if they break the new rules and could even be banned from EU countries if they continue to break the new law.
