Hundreds of thousands of people are on the streets in Myanmar. They protest about the army taking over and putting people in prison. They protest about 2 people killed on the weekend. Even Facebook has closed down the site used by the army to try to make people afraid. Ordinary people went on strike and closed all shops and business. They want democracy. In the UK, we never think about it – many people do not vote. In Myanmar, the people want their vote and are angry because the army ignores them.
It is frightening. In the USA they are close to 500 thousand people died from covid. That is like the whole of the population of Liverpool being wiped out. More than 28 million people in the USA have the virus. There will be a candle light service in Washington. The president will say a few words but mostly there will be silence.

For last ten years, they have been selling their wine in China. But in the last year China and Australia have not been agreeing about politics. China decided to add high tax to Australian wine.
