Navalny put in jail
The rest of the world cannot believe it.  The Russians tried to poison him.  He was taken to Germany.  Now a court says he should have come back to Russia at that time.  He says ”How? – I was in a coma.”  The court says he has to go to jail for another nearly 3 years at least.  People who came to stand outside the Court, were just arrested by police.  Navalny spoke in court and said Putin was “Vladimir, the underpants poisoner” – because Navalny was poisoned by novichok put in his underwear.  Other governments are outraged by the oppression and this very bad action against Navalny and the Russian people.
Astra Zeneca for under 65s
Germany, Austria and now France say that the Astra Zeneca vaccine is only for people under 65 years old.  They say there is not enough evidence.  It may not work well with older people, they say.
News from Myanmar is worse
After the coup, they shut down the Internet and TV stations.  The army arrested the members of the party which won the most votes in the election.  The leader Aung San Suu Kyi is probably kept in her house – no communication.  The army says they will have control for a year.  People are very angry but also very afraid.  The army can do what they like – there is no justice.
Big business for the vaccines
In 2021, Pfizer will receive £11 billion in sales for their vaccine across the world.  They say 40 million doses will be sold to UK.
