Flights from South America and Portugal are banned
Portugal, Brazil and some South American countries are now banned from flying to UK.  This is because of fear of new Covid variant spreading from there.  Transport Secretary Grant Shapps decided Friday but now delayed to Monday.  This is to allow people arriving to arrange to have a Covid tests.  It was too short notice.
President Trump Impeachment
President Trump will face a trial in the Senate next Wednesday to ask him to leave the White House. He was charged for inciting his supporters to invade the Capitol. The Senate say trial will happen after Biden becomes President.  The Senate needs  a two-thirds majority. This means at least 17 Republicans have to vote with Democrats to find Trump guilty.  The Senate will have another vote to stop Trump becoming President again in 2024.
Germany Economy Down 5%
German economy is down 5% because of Covid. It was worse in 2009, because of the world wide financial crisis.
Samsung new smartphone
Samsung launched a new Galaxy S smartphone. You can use a stylus like a pen for the first time. Sales of older phones has gone down compared to other phones.  Maybe the new phone will help Samsung to become successful again?
