Plane crash in Indonesia. 
They have found the place where it crashed.  There is a black box which can tell exactly what happened to the plane.  They never received any messages.  It looks like 62 people died.
Power cut in Pakistan
On Saturday there was a huge power cut in Pakistan.  There was complete blackout for 212 million people.  One power station failed and it caused others to shut down.  People tried to get petrol so that they could use their own electricity generators but there were long queues at garages.
Big worries about Trump
Trump encouraged the terrible riots in Washington.  Many of his staff resigned.  The Democrats want to throw him out immediately and they will vote on this soon.  Many of his own party say he broke the law.  Five people died.  Twitter and Facebook closed Trump’s accounts.  They are all worried about what Trump might do in the final two weeks before he leaves.
Arrests of Trump supporters
So far the FBI have arrested 20 people who were in the crowd who stormed the Capitol in Washington.  They expect that there will more than 100 arrests.  They can be identified from their video and from their social media posts.
They forgot about the Falkland Islands
When they made the Brexit deal, they forgot to include the Falkland Island (a British Overseas Territory).  Now when they send meat to the EU, it will cost an extra 42% in tax; fish will cost 18% more.  They are asking the UK Government to sort this out.
