Donald Trump denies the virus is out of control and denies the numbers which show USA has most cases and deaths. He produces alternative figures in his interview on the weekend. People agree that he is using the data in the wrong way. This is all part of a plan to make people confused and to give out wrong information. For example, they say the Democrat leader is afraid to have a debate with Trump. In fact, it is Trump who has not agreed to have a TV debate. But people are likely to believe the fake stories as they are repeated on Fox News and Facebook.
There are 790 health workers who have the virus in Melbourne – they have not had enough protective equipment. French Government is worried about the rise in number of people in intensive care for the virus. The situation could get out of control. Turkey and Greece are also seeing a jump in cases. Ireland stopped the re-opening of pubs and makes face masks compulsory in shops from next week.
More penguins. Using satellites, scientists have now discovered that there are more penguins than they thought. These are emperor penguins, like in the films and they have their eggs on the sea ice (not on the land) around Antarctica. Next they have to use better cameras so that they can count the penguins exactly.
